Painting on the front porch during warm summer days is one of my “Most Favorite” things!

This image is the result of a “just for fun” session on a hot summer day. I’d been finding little snail shells in the woods…left by birds, or fairies, as little treasures to be discovered on my tromps through the trees.                           I’m intrigued by the spiral…going within to find the center or source. The way in is also the way out….there is lots to ponder in a snail-shell. Our hillside was covered in daisies this July. It’s not surprising that they also found their way into my work when the shell, all by itself, felt a bit empty.
