This painting was a gift for my father and was based on a birthday card he received. He liked the idea of a scene showing a man on a journey through a forest and coming upon a break in the trees…representing the peace and golden years ahead after a lifetime of hard work and struggle.
We all have those times in our life that you look back on and wonder at the strength that got you through. Sometimes it is with the help of your family & friends, represented in this painting by little Samson, Dad’s much missed mini Schnauzer.
