Those” not-so-great” sort of days that prompt you to call and vent to your best friend. It was one of those days, and a comment she’d made during that call that inspired this painting. She was wishing we could gather up and braid all the frayed bits of our topsy-turvy lives back together in a way that made sense. The artist in me wrote the phrase down, thinking it would be a great title for a painting. The next day found me putting all my frustrations onto canvas, and, at least in paint….it all made sense!!

Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long)
so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but
I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have
any helpful hints for beginner blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.
Hello there!
Thank you. I really appreciate the compliment. I don’t know that I have any great advice for you, other then….Just keep writing!
And then actually get those words onto the blog for others to see. I tend to get sidetracked with the art/painting part of things and don’t take the time to put all of my writings on the blog. 🙂 As of now, I have at least 5 entries to type up and post. (I mostly write long-hand or on an old fashioned typewriter). And write about something that you feel passionate about…..I think it resonates with the reader when there is authentic writer enthusiasm. Just my two cents!! Hope you have a wonderful day! 🙂 Thanks for the comment.
